I expertise in Japanese Riichi Mahjong. My current level on tenhou.net is 6D (among the top 5%). Here is my user log. I also attended Mahjongsoul’s official Team Tournament in 2021 and was ranked No.1 among all players. Here is a Youtube video for the final.
I expertise in Go (Weiqi). My current level at Tencent Fox Weiqi is 5D. I won the first place in 2020 SF Go Tournament (intermediate group)

I played Contract Bridge during undergraduate and I was a member of Peking University Contract Bridge Club.
I play Texas Hold’em on Pokerstar and I have +EV on PokerStar in $0.1/$0.2 cash game.
I reached level 10 in Accordion. This is the highest level granted by Chinese Musician’s Association. I stopped playing in 2008 but I plan to start learning playing Piano recently.
I speak Mandarin Chinese and English. I also self-learned Japanese and passed JLPT N3 but I am not good at communicating in Japanese.
I played Pro Evolution Soccer for a long while and I was strong at it. I won the second place in an undergraduate competition. I stopped playing after 2021 because it’s less interesting. Also. EA Sports’ FIFA really sucks.

I am a Hi-Fi audiophile. I used to be admin of PKU’s Hi-Fi BBS forum. My current desktop setup is RME ADI-2 dac -> Monoprice Liquid Platinum -> Focal Clear. My favorite device is HD-600.
I listen to a variety type of musics, including Pop, Cantopop, Mandopop, J-Pop, Alt Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop and Classical. My supported artists include Eason Chan, Mayday, YOASOBI, Sekai No Owari and Coldplay and Dvorak. Here is my Last.FM profile.
I am a coffee enthusiast. I like drink Pour overs, Americano and Espresso. My favorite coffee bean is Ethiopia Yirgacheffe.
I am a sports fan in Football (real football), American football and Golf. I am a devoted fan of Chelsea FC and Pittsburgh Steelers. For golf, I support Jordan Spieth and Viktor Hovland.
My academic interest areas outside work include Finance, Psychology and Ornithology.
I like travelling and photography. I’ve been to 31 states and 20 national parks in US. London (UK), Gold Coast (Australia) and Kyushu (Japan) are my top three favorite places.
I like watch Mystery movie and TV dramas (e.g. Prestige, The Invisible Guest). My top 3 favorite TV dramas are Unnatural Death (Japan) and Silicon Valley and Criminal Minds. I don’t watch a lot of Anime but I am a big fan of One Piece.
My MBTI type is strong INTJ.
I am a minimalist. I like simple stuffs.
I rarely use IDE for programming. In most cases, I use Vim with a very native configuration.
